Accurate Content: The ability to edit your information anywhere, anytime (using your internet connection) so that your information is always current. Precise Information: By providing extra information about your church to the community, you make it easier for those seeking a church to find you - and learn more about you. This helps increase the likelihood of new visitors to your church. High Visibility: Churches with an Advanced Listing are eligible for the Featured Church section on the NWChurches.com home page. This highly visible location can draw more people to your details page, and thus to your church. Priority Placement - Churches with an Advanced Listing will be the first results returned when a search is performed. This means that your church will be among the first that someone sees; again increasing your visibility. High Visibility: In the future the default search preference will be set to return only churches with an Advanced Listing. If users would like to see basic listings, they will have to specify to include them in the search. This greatly increases visibility. Continuous updates to the technology: We are always updating the technology behind the site, including adding functionality and features for churches with an Advanced Listing to utilize. These updates are automatically built in to the technology, and cost you nothing extra! Information Rich: So comprehensive, you could use it as your website! One of our goals is to provide enough information that any basic questions a user may have about your church can be answered simply by looking at your listing. Program Eligibility: Only churches with a full listing are eligible for our church referral program. Version 3.0 just released New features included in v3.0: Ministry Summaries: Currently simply a list of the ministries you offer, we are adding the ability to give a brief summary about each ministry. Mailing Address: There are enough churches with a separate mailing address that we are adding the ability to enter multiple addresses for your church. Children's Pastor Name and Photo: So many adults return to church because of their children, we have decided to add information about the Children's Pastor so visitors can see who their kids will be interacting with. Statement of Faith: Currently we allow your mission and vision statement - but what's REALLY important is what you believe! Limited Photo Gallery: Many visitors to nwchurches.com have requested that more photos be available of each church. We're building a photo management system that will allow you to add additional photos to your Advanced Listing. Staff Information:Individual contact information and brief biographies for each person in the database; currently these include the head pastor, music minister, youth and college pastors, and soon the children's pastor. Special Event Calendar: So many churches put on so many special events - especially during the holidays. This feature will allow you to advertise those events to everybody that sees your listing! Streaming Media! V3.0 will allow each church with an Advanced Listing to stream one worship song and a small segment of a sermon so visitors can get a feel for your church while looking at your information! Youth Group and College Group Links: Got a youth group or college group website? Now you'll be able to input the URL (website address) and have your Advanced Listing link off to those sites! Variable Titles: We've had several questions about titles for specific positions within the church. Some churches have a Sr. Pastor, others a Head Pastor, and others a Lead Pastor. So v3.0 will allow you to select a title for each position listed in the database! Email your Church! (For Version 3.1) Another feature for the end user: emailing a church to a friend. And only churches with an Advanced Listing will be eligible to be emailed to other people. Yet another way an Advanced Listing can increase your visibility. Save your Church! (For Version 3.5) The end user interface is getting some new features too - among them is the ability for the user to save their search and their favorite churches. This will allow them to come back later and look through their favorite churches again. Only churches with an Advanced Listing will be eligible to be saved to the user's favorites.
